Wanderers have delved into the loan market for the first time this summer, moving to bring Michael Harriman to Adams Park from QPR.

The 22-year-old will be embarking on his second stint with the Chairboys following a loan to Blues in the 2012/13 season in which he was given his first Football League start by Gareth Ainsworth.

The right-back, who signed a new deal with the Championship side recently, spent the last campaign on loan at Luton, and he has penned a deal with Wycombe until the end of January.

Ainsworth said: "I've kept a close eye on Michael ever since his first spell with us and always been impressed with the way he goes about his game.

"He can play in a number of positions, he's got great talent on and off the ball and you always know you'll get 100% effort and commitment from him. I'm really pleased to have him back.

"The loan market was crucial for us last year and it will be again, due to the small size of our squad. If we can bring in a few more players of Michael's calibre then I'm confident we can have another good season."
