JOEL Grant's early goal may not have been scored had it not been for a timely slip from Danny Foster.
The Blues winger netted the opening goal in Wanderers' 3-1 win at Portsmouth in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy after just 13 seconds, without a Pompey player touching the ball.
But Foster, who took the captain's armband for the game at Fratton Park, revealed afterwards there was a small slice of luck involved.
He said: "It came back to me, I slipped on the kick and fell on my a**e and shanked the ball. It's gone in to Kuffour, it's ended up wide and Granty, what a finish."
The right back added: "We're due a bit of luck."
