THE Great Marlow School Boat Club were fine form at the Bedford Regatta with a host of victories.

They took a squad of four eights and seven fours to race across a range of events, and several qualifying rounds the year nine girls coxed quads and the year ten coxed fours both steamed to victory.

Marlow also made two other finals, the sixth form girls losing by a length to their Bedford Girls School and the sixth form boys losing to Radley College.

The boys beat Norwich on the way to the final, the crew that had pipped them to the gold medal in each of the past two years, but Radley edged them out by half a length.
