High Wycombe racers Tom Ingram and Jack Goff were both constant features in the top ten as round five of the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) rolled into Croft.
Speedworks driver Ingram has been overshadowed by the exploits of Triple Eight’s Goff so far this season but he turned the tables on Sunday.
Having qualified 13th for race one, five places below Goff, Ingram overtook the Stokenchurch native en route to an eighth place finish before going on to cross the line eighth and seventh in races two and three respectively.
Goff meanwhile, in line with his consistent form all season, picked up two tenth place finishes and an eighth place finish in the final race.
The results leave Goff two places above Ingram in the drivers’ standings, sitting in tenth place ahead of round six of the BTCC at Snetterton on 8-9 August.
