Chesham Bois Mavericks continued their impressive start to the Bucks Squash League Division Two with a narrow 13-9 win over Farnham Common.

The result maintains the Mavericks 100% record this season which is matched by just three other teams at this early stage of the season.

Elsewhere Wycombe Squash and Racketball club’s thirds, the Wycombe Drifters, recorded a dominant 19-2 victory over Chesham 1879.

The Chesham club did not have to wait long to get revenge on their Wycombe rivals though as their seconds beat Wycombe’s fourths 19-4 in Division Three.

After two years away from the Bucks Ladies’ Division One Wycombe Ladies made a triumphant return to the league with a resounding 16-1 victory over Chesham Bois Ladies.

Temple Wycombe were again on fine form as they beat Beechdown 17-6 in the Berkshire League Division 2A thanks to fine performances from Jon Ould, Scott Osbourne, Matt Allanson and George Goodchild.

They remain third after just three matches of the campaign and have an immediate chance to pull in second place Burghfield when they travel to their rivals in the next round of fixtures.

Temple Wycombe Veterans also produced a dominant winning display as they won 20-4 over Marlow Veterans for their first victory of the season.
