Temple Wycombe responded in the best possible way to their 20-1 mauling at the hands of Burghfield with a resounding 20-0 win against Meadway.

Over the course of the five leg Berkshire Squash League Division 2A match Temple conceded just 14 scoring shots. The result meant they were able to close the gap to second placed Caversham Seconds to nine points.

Caverhsam had themselves suffered a 15-7 defeat at University and Temple will look to build on the impressive form they showed against Meadway to close the gap further.

Stuart Miller, George Goodchild, Simon Miller and Matt Allanson all played brilliantly to ensure that Temple secured the whitewash.

Their result against Burghfield was also put into perspective as Beechdown were beaten by the same 20-1 score on what was a quiet week for squash action in the area.
