Chalfont St Peter take on fellow title chasers Rushden & Diamonds on Saturday knowing a win will take them top of the Division One Central League.

The pair are separated by goal difference alone and are first and third respectively for goals scored.

Despite the even nature of the two teams the need for a win is perhaps greater for Chalfont as they have played two games more than Rushden.

The winner will have the honour of being top at Christmas, but Chalfont will be wary of a visiting side who have lost just once in seven games.

In the same league Beaconsfield host Arlesley Town as they look to bounce back from last weeks 3-2 defeat at the hands of Bedford Town.

SYCOB have experienced indifferent form of late and having played substantially more games than the teams around them need to pick up points as soon as possible.

Elsewhere, Marlow are hosting Tiverton Town in what will be a testing match against the team sitting second in the Division One South & West.

Marlow are coming into the game on the back of ending a four game losing run and are currently 17th in the table.

Broadfield United will make the journey to face Risborough Rangers in the Spartan South Midlands Division One Central.

Rangers have been in good form of late and will be confident of getting a positive result from the game.

Amersham Town will look to move up the Spartan South Midland’s Division when they travel to face St Albans City Reserves.

Town will take confidence from their opponents less than stellar defensive record that has seen them concede 48 league goals, which is the second most in the league this campaign.

Ulhsport Hellenic Premier Division leaders Flackwell Heath face a stern test against one of the leagues form teams Longlevens AFC.

They have won four times and drawn once in their last five games in a run that has led them to seventh in the table.

Heath, who have scored a league high 64 goals this campaign, will however fancy their chances of getting all three points.
