Wycombe DPSFA thrashed Swindon PSFA at Sir William Ramsay School/ with a 6-1 drubbing recently.

The team was put together following trials for Year 6s that attend schools who are affiliated to the Wycombe Schools FA.

The fixture against Swindon was in the Southern Counties Cup and the Wycombe players were keen to put things right after a defeat the previous week to Gloucester in the Shires Cup.

Wycombe’s early pressure told after just seven minutes. Louis-Pitt’s pace caused the Swindon backline problems and a nice move ended with Pritchard slotting home calmly before Louis-Pitt made it two.
The home side continued to attack and move the ball quickly.
Further pressure forced a corner where Light finished a half volley as it fell to him to make it 3-0.

Further goals from Butters with a firm strike and another from Louis-Pitt after another good move made it 5-0 at half-time.

On 40 minutes Swindon pulled a goal back with a great strike before Johnson got a well deserved goal to make the final score 6-1.

The team’s league campaign kicks off this Saturday with a tough trip away to Wokingham.
