Last weekend, hoards of Wycombe Phoenix Harriers athletes competed at the Buckinghamshire County Championships at Horspath, Oxford.
Forty-one medals were won across numerous events, including 12 golds, 16 silvers and 13 bronzes. Prestigious county champion titles went to Hal Burtenshaw, Kendra Morris, Amy Hogbin (pole vault), Ryan Christopher Wells (discus), Lisa Fitzpatrick (100m, 100mH), Jodie Pearce (discus, shot put), Hannah Wells (discus, shot put), Cerys Vico (800m), and Jemima Hay (long jump).
Other medallists included: David Clark, Alex Wells, Ben Layne, Finn Bell, Byron Ewing, Jacob Sanderson, Nicholas Mitchell, Finn Kerr, Freddie Higgins, William Alexander, Megan Styles, Scarlet Storr, Charlotte Bellamy, Olivia Lowrie, Sian Vico, Emily Sanderson, Ella Griffin and Sienna Drummond. Wycombe Phoenix's junior athletes are set to compete this Saturday.
