JAMES Haskell is expected to return to full training the week after next.
The Wasps captain has missed both his team’s Champions Cup defeats with a viral infection and spent last week in hospital.
He is meeting up with England this week ahead of the autumn internationals, but it’s not likely he’ll be available for the first Test.
Wasps director of rugby Dai Young said: “It was a concern, getting to the bottom of it. With any viral infection the alarm bells start ringing but he’s had all the tests and they’ve all been negative.
“He’s fine and feeling a lot better and a lot stronger, but he won’t be long out.
“He certainly has to ease his way into it and take it very easy with England next week. But hopefully he’ll be back in full training the week after next if everything goes well.”
