WASPS will be without Tom Rees for the next two months after the England flanker tore a medial ligament in his knee for the second time in a year.
Rees suffered the injury against Harlequins on Sunday and will miss crunch Premiership and Heineken Cup games, as well as a large part of the Six Nations.
It's a bitter blow for the 24-year-old former RGS pupil, who missed virtually all of last season's Six Nations with a similar injury.
Wasps head coach Shaun Edwards said: "It’s terrible luck for Tom. He certainly won’t be starting the Six Nations and we’re keeping our fingers crossed that he will not be out for any longer than eight weeks."
