HEADSPACE High Wycombe is part of a completely different library provision developed and run in partnership with young people and The Reading Agency, the independent charity working to get more people reading more.

Headpspace is a visionary new approach to teenage library services in Buckinghamshire County Council.

Young people have been involved in the design planning and running of the new teenage library in High Wycombe. The library is being used well by young people where they can chill out and enjoy cutting-edge reading experiences.

On 27th November Headspace was officially launched. A steering group of young people had joined in the planning of the event which involved two local bands REASON 6 and Moving Shapes performing their music in the library and to eat there was lots of pizza!

Up to 30 young people came along and enjoyed the event.

Here are some of the comments: "brilliant! The best part of High Wycombe Library is Headspace. Its really cool. I chill out here alot when I am bored 10/10"
