Who wants to sit in the dark?

My last words on the ‘Archimedes screw’ electricity generators that may be located in the Thames at Marlow.

I notice in last week’s BFP that construction is due to start this year of an incinerator plant in Greatmoor in north Bucks. This will evidently produce enough electricity from waste materials to power 36,000 homes.

So, rather than have ‘hideous eyesores’ on our river, why don’t we exchange these generators for Greetmoor’s incinerator? We would then be generating over twice as much electricity as the town currently needs!

The questions I ask are very simple. Who in Marlow wants an incinerator? Who wants an electrical generator in the Thames? Who wants to sit in the dark?
