Vanity of politicians needs to be resisted
Your report about the Chiltern council planning to spend another £350,000 of our money on petitioning against HS2 is very worrying.
Now they want to put up the council tax.
This vanity of politicians needs to be resisted. How dare they continue to waste money lining the pockets of lawyers and PR men on yet more futile legal challenges and without public mandate?
