How can Wycombe District Council allow the excellent Information Centre be moved further down Institute Road to the Library and then allow it to close all day Monday. The visitors will think that the council does not care.
The Information Centre is well located off the High Street in Institute Road next to the Post Office in the centre of the town so that the volume of visitors can gain easy access for information of the town and surrounding area.
Local people use it for access to the council and its business.
Marlow is one of the top visitor towns in the Thames Valley in both summer and winter. Having lived here for more than 40 years, I use it frequently for local information of “What’s On” and details of other activities Please reverse your decision and keep it where it is, but if you must move it put it back on the High Street where it last was. – Michael Cary, Pound Lane, Marlow
