A former Wycombe Wanderers striker has singed for a Non League club in the Thames Valley.

Josh Parker, who had two separate spells with the Chairboys, has penned an undisclosed contract with Oxford City of the National League South.

The 31-year-old has not been with a club since leaving Burton Albion in the summer of 2021, but he did play for Risborough Rangers sporadically last season on a non-contract basis.

Following his unveiling on September 12, he was included in the club’s starting line-up for their away fixture at Chelmsford, which the hosts won thanks to a last-minute strike.

Upon joining the Hoops, he said: "It's very exciting and I'm very happy to sign.

"I've had a tough year out of football after an injury, so it's nice to get back into football and nice to sign for a club that is very close-knit, well run, and a group of players who have ambition."

Across his two spells with Wycombe, Parker played 23 times and scored once.

His only goal was in the 2-1 away win at Milton Keynes in the Football League Trophy back in November 2019.
