A man has been charged with robbery, assaulting an emergency worker and breach of bail in High Wycombe.
On Monday, a man apparently followed a woman from a BP petrol station on West Wycombe Road.
After repeatedly asking for a cigarette, the woman ignored the man and crossed the road before entering Oakridge Road.
The man then allegedly followed her, put his hand in the her pocket and pushed her to the ground.

She hit her head and was also then reportedly kicked by the man who stole some tobacco and then left the scene
The woman suffered cuts and bruises but did not need hospital treatment.
On arrest in connection with the attack - the man allegedly spat at a police officer.
Niall Horn, 33, of Oakridge Road, High Wycombe, was arrested on Tuesday (May 19) and charged on Wednesday (May 20) with one count each of robbery, common assault of an emergency worker and breach of court bail conditions.
Horn appeared at Oxford Magistrates Court yesterday and he is due at Aylesbury Crown Court on June 15.
