Support the Goals is a global initiative that rates and recognises businesses that support the SDGs to work towards a more sustainable future.

A five-star rating is only awarded to organisations that are actively involving their suppliers in their efforts towards reaching these goals.

The United Nations SDGs are a universal call for action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030.

In response to this rating, Alastair Wynn, Operations Director at Softcat, said: “We are delighted to be awarded a 5 Star rating from Support the Goals, underlining our commitment to supporting the United Nation’s Sustainability Development Goals.

“We believe that all businesses need to get behind the Global Goals to help create a better world for today, tomorrow and for future generations.

"Social responsibility is not just a programme of activity, it is what we should be doing every day to drive positive change.”
