Following Andre Burley’s appearance for Saint Kitts and Nevis on Wednesday night [March 24, 2021], the 21-year-old has joined a unique list of Wycombe players to have represented their respected nations.

He joins the likes of Mark Rogers (Canada), Jermaine Easter (Wales), Keiran Murtagh and Marvin McCoy (Antigua & Barbuda), Leon Johnson and Aaron Pierre (Grenada), Kevin Betsy (Seychelles) and Daryl Horgan (Ireland), to all play for their countries whilst at Wycombe.

Horgan was an unused substitute in Ireland's 3-2 defeat in Serbia on the same night as Burley's international bow.

Other Wycombe players who have had international experience are Jack Grimmer, who has played for Scotland’s Under 15 to Under 21s, Joe Jacobson, who played 14 times for the Wales Under 21s, and Admiral Muskwe.

The on-loan Leicester forward has played four times for Zimbabwe but none of his caps have been as a Wanderers player.

Uche Ikpeazu has been called to the Ugandan squad but has yet to play for the African side, and David Stockdale was called up to the England squad in 2011 by Fabio Capello, when he was the second choice goalkeeper at Fulham.

He sadly did not make any appearances for the Three Lions.
