An inquest into the death of a High Wycombe mother who died in a horrifying car crash on a busy dual carriageway has been delayed again.

Mother-of-one, Janice Swain, died on September 13 last year, less than 24 hours after she was left with severe head injuries following a three-car smash on the Marlow Bypass, between Handy Cross and Marlow.

Janice’s 18-year-old daughter and boxer dog, Peaches, were in the car at the time of the crash.

Peaches sadly died days after the crash, on September 20.

A pre-inquest review held at Bucks Coroner’s Court in Beaconsfield on Wednesday heard that the file is now with the Crown Prosecution Service, who are deciding whether any charges will be brought.

Another review has now been set for April 12 to discuss the progress of the case.

Former Great Marlow School student, Janice, was brought up in Marlow, where most of her family still live.

Tributes poured in for the "beautiful" and "bubbly" 43-year-old following her tragic death, with family and friends describing Janice as “one of a kind.”
