Travellers who set up camp near High Wycombe’s busy leisure centre, have left, with rubbish spotted still strewn across the site.
Eyewitnesses also reported seeing a small fire on the building site where the former Wycombe Sports Centre, off Marlow Hill, used to be.
They had been there since at least last Tuesday morning (April 11) and were asked to leave by Thursday (April 13).
A series of aerial shots showed piles of rubbish left at the site less than a week after they moved in.
The land is owned by Wycombe District Council and its workers have been seen securing the site after the travellers left this afternoon.
