Home Park erupted in rage at referee Peter Bankes after he allowed Wanderers’ second goal to stand against Plymouth on Saturday.
The Green Army were up in arms after the official failed to award handball against Steven Craig in the build-up to Aaron Holloway scoring in the 22nd minute.
The man at the centre of the home fans angst denied any wrong doing.
“It was never a handball,” said Craig.
“That’s part and parcel of the game. The referee never saw it because there was nothing to see, and it was a great finish by the big man. To win 3-2 and get an assist and a goal is pleasing.”
However, Plymouth’s official Twitter feed didn’t see it quite the same way, tweeting:
Rough one. Steven Craig handballs.....and the ball falls to Holloway, who shoots home. #pafc

I don't think it would betray blinkers and bias to say that it was a clear handball that was not spotted. #pafc

Pilgrims boss John Sheridan also complained about the decision after the match.
He told the Western Morning News: “I don’t know if there was a handball before their second one, but everyone I have talked to said it was.
“I’m looking at our players and everyone has stopped. The referee didn’t blow and it has cost us.”

The Scotsman went on to score Blues' third of the night, prompting his inclusion in the running for our man-of-the-match poll.
